The IVV is an international folksport organization that organizes events worldwide. The Olympic sports in Tampere will include walking, cycling, and swimming. As national sports, we are excited to introduce canoeing and orienteering.

What can you expect from Tampere IVV Olympiads 14.-17.8.2025?
We warmly welcome you to the 19th International Folksportfestival in Tampere, Finland’s largest lakeland city 14.-17.8.2025!
The Olympiad village is located right in the heart of the city, at the Central square where there are good public transport connections from everywhere. The city center is on a narrow isthmus between two large lakes but the city spreads over a wide area. Tampere has a good 249,000 residents.

The location of the Olympia Village
The Olympia Village is located in the center of Tampere, on Keskustori. The opening ceremony will be held on the Laikun lava stage, just beside the village in a beautiful park. All walking routes and Orienteering start from the Olympia Village.
