Terms and Conditions of Order and Contract

General

Pirkanmaan Matkailu ry, Business ID: 0155492-9, sells products to businesses and adults worldwide. These terms of delivery apply to ordering an Olympia Pass from our online store as well as to similar deliveries.

These terms of delivery are effective as of August 26, 2024. We reserve the right to unilaterally amend the terms from time to time, so please review our delivery terms each time before placing an order in our online store.

Products and Prices

The characteristics and prices of the products in the online store are presented alongside the product descriptions. We reserve the right to change prices and delivery costs, so please check the applicable prices in your shopping cart before confirming your order. The prices of the products include the VAT applicable at the time of order, which is shown in the shopping cart and in the order confirmation.

Delivery Costs

No delivery costs are added when ordering the Olympia Pass. The Olympia Pass can be picked up during the IVV Olympiad week at the competition office in the Olympia Village.

Ordering and Agreement

You can order products from our online store by adding them to your shopping cart, confirming the order, and paying for the contents of the cart through the payment service. When placing an order in our online store, you are required to review and agree to our current terms and conditions of order and contract. You understand that the order you place and we confirm is binding and constitutes an agreement between us under these terms, except where cancellation rights are later mentioned.

Payment and Payment Methods

You can pay for your order using the payment methods described in the online store and selectable in the shopping cart.

Order and Payment Confirmation

After a successful order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email, so please provide your email address when placing the order. The order confirmation will also confirm the payment method used.

If, for some unexpected reason, we are unable to confirm your order, we will notify you via email as soon as possible.

Delivery Method and Time

Olympia Passes are not delivered to the purchaser. The Olympia Pass can be picked up during the IVV Olympiad week at the competition office in the Olympia Village. We will provide more detailed opening hours and instructions closer to the event.

Right of Cancellation

Participation can be canceled by April 30, 2025, with a medical certificate. A processing fee of 50 euros will be retained for handling cancellations. You can send a request for cancellation to info@ivvfinland.fi, including your account number and the medical certificate.

Order Review, Errors, and Problem Situations

Please check the order confirmation immediately upon receipt. If the order confirmation does not match your order or contains errors, please notify our Customer Service as soon as possible and no later than 14 days, so we can arrange to correct the mistake.

Limitation of Liability

Pirkanmaan Matkailu ry is not liable for any indirect, direct, or other damages related to the order, delivery, or product, except to the extent that mandatory provisions in the Consumer Protection Act or other mandatory laws dictate otherwise regarding such damages.

Disputes

We strive to resolve any disputes regarding your order primarily through negotiation, so please contact our Customer Service first to settle the matter.

If a dispute concerning the sales contract cannot be resolved through negotiations between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi) for resolution. Before bringing the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board, the consumer must contact the Consumer Advisory Service (www.kuluttajaneuvonta.fi).
